Ana María Ducasse

Senior Lecturer and Spanish Program Coordinator, RMIT

Dr. Ana Maria Ducasse lectures in Spanish language, culture and general sociolinguistics while publishing and supervising in Applied Linguistics.  With competitive grants she compared IELTS Interview tasks to Higher Education tutorials and TOEFL-iBT Speaking tasks to student oral presentations. On Spanish Government multi-institutional grant, she investigated the differing interactional styles of Spanish and UK English speakers in persuasive entrepreneurial pitch at UAH, Madrid and 'Interculturality and Inter-comprehension in Assessing Plurilingual Discourse Competence feedback and Digital student feedback Literacy' at UPF, Barcelona.  More recently she has published with colleagues on reflective practice  and feedback processes for L2 writing tasks.
